I enjoy working with children with anxiety, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. My goal is always to create a warm, fun environment that children enjoy and to model skills that are practical to take out of the office and use at home. I use a combination of ABA and CBT techniques based on the needs of the child and family. I'm also skilled in working with young adults on the autism spectrum on social/self-management skills and women in the pregnancy and postpartum stages of their lives. As a mother and parent myself, I am particularly honored to hold space for women navigating the challenges of pregnancy and new parenthood.
I always incorporate family into my work with children but also see parents individually to improve their parenting skills and explore their own needs. Counseling can be short-term. Addressing concerns before they become major issues means that we can create meaningful change in a short period of time that leads to a positive, happy home environment.
