I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 17 years of experience working in various settings such as schools, hospitals, community mental health centers, and private practice. I treat people of all ages from younger children to older adults, and a variety of mental health concerns including PTSD, childhood trauma, interpersonal problems, stress management, and mood disorders such as Depression, Bipolar, Panic Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety. I specialize in helping people who have survived trauma or difficult pasts to find peace and resolution in their lives today.
I am skilled in treating complex trauma including but not limited to traumatic birth and loss, childhood abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse and domestic violence, emotional abuse, and neglect. I work often with veterans and first responders, and various other populations directly exposed to difficult situations.
I also treat individuals struggling with general mood dysregulation or who need help managing stress or difficult relationships. I work to create a welcoming, collaborative environment for my clients. I aim for every client to leave each session feeling heard and validated, but also with valuable feedback to guide them towards change in their lives.
