My clinical experience includes providing individual, family, and group therapy to individuals across the lifespan and with varying cultural backgrounds and presenting concerns. I have experience in working within varying levels of care within the hospital system as well as private outpatient practice. My research background has focused upon multicultural/acculturation issues, bicultural identity development, and utilizing integrative approaches to maintaining wellness. My years of experience and training allow me to utilize evidence based treatments in the treatment of health related conditions, mood disorders, and trauma.
My therapeutic approach is person centered, collaborative, compassionate, and strength-based.
My goal is to work at a pace that is comfortable for you to tailor treatment to meet your personal needs. I will work with you to address both past and present challenges with the goal of increasing insight and supporting you to make self-motivated changes that provide both symptom relief and long-lasting meaningful change.
