I provide psychological evaluations and psychotherapy. The psychological evaluations are in two specialized areas: immigration cases and psychoeducational. The psychotherapy takes the form of individual, couples, family or group sessions. I have over 15 years of experience working closely with immigrants who require evaluation of their functioning or the functioning of their family members, for the purposes of an immigration petition. These evaluations include filing for asylum, extreme hardship impacting families of immigrants, domestic abuse petitions and waiver of citizenship exam.
My psychoeducational evaluations provide an overview of your child’s strengths and weaknesses in the areas of attention, problem solving, verbal and nonverbal skills, abstract reasoning, educational achievement, and social-emotional functioning. A psychoeducational evaluation is a vital first step to understanding causes of your child’s academic delays.
In therapy, I help clients develop greater harmony between their physical, thinking, emotional, spiritual and social selves. I call my approach Integrative Psychology. I listen intently to client needs, affirm their individuality, and, through the course of the therapy, help them to pursue opportunities for positive change.

Groups
Men's Self-Awareness Group
Men are socialized to be goal driven and emotionally controlled and often have difficulty identifying their emotional needs or clearly expressing them in relationships. This group offers a safe space to explore needs and discover commonalities, indeed, a fellowship that can develop with other men. Issues addressed in the group include control versus openness to experience, workplace frustrations, relationship with significant others, inertia versus motivation, stress management, belonging and trust. Prospective group members must be interviewed before joining.
