Has it felt like your life is driven by what you don’t want to feel instead of what’s meaningful to you? Trauma isn’t just the events that happened to you, but the impact that they have inside you. Regardless of how long ago they were, past painful experiences can lay the foundation for how you view yourself and the world. This can leave you feeling like you’re responding based on old patterns, even if they get in the way of who you are today. We are all informed by our past. However, we are also more than the worst things that have happened to us.
In therapy, I draw on my training in approaches that are backed by research. However, I also want to connect on a human level and believe that there is immense meaning that can come from being seen by another person. We will work to understand the impact of your past while also applying insights and tools to improve your day-to-day experience.
Clients find me to be easy going, approachable, and sincere in my care about their growth and progress. I love being a part of clients’ “aha” moments and I hope to be a part of yours. Please visit my website for more information and to schedule a free consultation if you feel I may be a good fit.
