We'll process and address cognitive, emotional and behavioral patterns that affect functioning and relationships. I work from a culturally competent stance, acknowledge the whole person and create a space that honors identity and intersectionality.
You'll gain skills to address symptoms; improve distress tolerance; increase cognitive and emotional response and processing; enhance communication; increase ability to accept limitations and regulate emotions. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family systems, attachment, existential approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and more.
Developing the skills to remain regulated, safe and make self honoring decisions that promote a healthy sense of self, wellbeing and relationships is possible. I'll listen compassionately, evoke a safe curiosity about yourself and the world and leave you feeling safe within yourself and around others.
