I'm really glad you're here. It's a big deal to look for a therapist, especially when you're having a hard time. I want to make it as easy as possible for you to feel out whether reaching out to me makes sense for you. + Here are some facts: I've been in the field for about 12 years. That means I have solid experience. I've worked in all sorts of settings, including with people who are in crisis, have survived trauma and abuse, are immigrants, are college students, are unhoused, are really young. I'm unlikely to be overwhelmed by what you're dealing with. I will be your ally. I care deeply and sincerely about the people I work with.
I'm warm, direct and show up as a real person to this work. I specialize in working with youth, teens, young adults, parents and queer and trans folks. I work as an Expressive Arts and Somatic therapist. These are fancy words that mean that we can do more than just talk in therapy, if you want to. I also coach parents of LGBTQIA+ youth who want to be allies.
I will be present with you and do my best to really, truly understand what you're facing. I take you and your life seriously. I will work my hardest to actually help you reach your goals. The work we do together will be driven by what you care about and want for yourself. I'm glad to offer a free 25 minute consult so you can feel out fit and ask questions.
