I specify in working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues. I create a comfortable space for clients to explore their identity and work on their relationship issues. I have extensive experience working with the LGBT+ community exploring sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, as well as interpersonal relationship issues. Through my experience in child welfare, I have developed a trauma-focused lens to help clients work through their symptoms of anxiety, depression, and mood regulation to attain joy and fulfillment in life once again.
Therapy is your time to make what you want out of it. I focus on the here and now and what you need in this moment. Through this person-centered approach, we will discover a variety of needs and goals to work on. From there, I take from a variety of therapeutic models and curtail them to the need you have in that moment to carry you forward to your goals.
For social workers looking for supervision and/or licensure, I offer hourly clinical supervision on a weekly or as needed basis.
