I am well versed in evidence-based therapies for PTSD and grief, and offer them flexibly. I use a strengths-based approach in which distress sometimes may be seen as a marker of conscience rather than as a problem needing "treatment." My priority is to build a rapport - "a relational home" - where what may seem intolerable can be carried.
