I have been a therapist for 22 years and have worked in this field for 23 years. I have extensive experience in crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress management. I want to help my clients develop self-awareness and coping skills for their challenges by utilizing their strengths and social supports. Clients must be motivated to get help so they can eventually help themselves. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
My specialties include depression, grief, and PTSD, which typically stem from stress, trauma, or a crisis. I recognize the emotional reactions to stress, crises, and traumas. If these reactions are not appropriately processed, they can lead to depression and PTSD. I also provide professional clinical supervision for those seeking licensure.
