As a clinician who specializes in the healing of Black and Brown people, I ensure that I use therapy modalities and the lived experience to assist in the healing process.
I specialize in Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, REBT, and solution-focused methods. I provide support in the form of psychoeducation and consultation in addition to treatment, as I know that the healing process requires a multi-faceted approach which educates and empowers the client.
As part of great practice and modeling for communication, I make myself accessible via email and phone. For those potential clients who are not able to come to the office, I use teletherapy ( video therapeutic services) to reach them. I welcome consultation as a form of connecting before starting services to aid in rapport building.
