As a therapist my role is to help support and guide you to think outside of the box and embrace new ideas that promote change. I believe that you should be empowered by your therapist and feel a connection to be able to make a plan that works for your situation. I have 20 years of training in many modalities, most specifically, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Family Systems. I also use yoga, meditation and breath work into sessions when asked and needed to promote mind/body balance.
My practice is in person and I offer telehealth, which promotes complete confidentiality and anonymity. If your skeptical about the effectiveness please see my website for research articles that prove telehealth to be as effective as in person therapy.
