My passion lies in helping those experiencing issues with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, relationship (peer) issues, and behavioral issues (teens) and general life transitions.

Mikala Adair is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2020. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Appalachian State University (Go 'neers! ) and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Asking for help is hard, scary, and uncomfortable. Mikala approaches clients with empathy and a focus to meet them where they are at to help them reach their therapeutic goals. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches with person-centered, talk therapy at the center.

Anxiety, stressors of daily life related to family responsibilities, social, financial & work issues, grief from loss of people and situations, and traumatic events, past or present, whether sudden or planned can impact our daily life and make us feel lost or confused, angry, isolated, or engaging in unhealthy behaviors.
