I provide individual, family, and group therapy for adults and adolescents. My areas of interest and specialty include eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma (emotional and physical abuse, sexual abuse and assault, and domestic violence), grief and loss. For young people with eating disorders, I work together with the family and other providers (doctors and dieticians) to achieve recovery. I am very familiar with the local resources and help families navigate those when needed.
My focus is building on your strengths and teaching skills to manage stressors, symptoms and trauma related triggers. I use a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and solution focused therapy. I also work with you on building healthy boundaries and improving self worth.
Please reach out for an initial phone call to see if we are a good fit for each other. I am happy to answer any questions.
