Being compassionate and emotionally present to clients is an essential aspect of my therapy. I specialize in working with people who've experienced trauma, are going through life transitions and are struggling in their relationships with themselves or others. I strive to create a welcoming and safe space, where you can heal, grow and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. It’s my goal to help you identify the barriers that are holding you back from living your best life. Our work together will help you to develop your strengths, coping skills, and confidence in navigating challenges in the healthiest way possible.
I have extensive training in a range of modalities which include Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for emotional dysregulation as well as other mindfulness based therapies, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and elements of positive psychology.
Together we can keep taking one step at a time in a pace that feels comfortable for you. It is important to be able to explore together what your needs are and how to meet those needs in a safe and effective way.
