We are currently open to new clients across West Michigan for Outpatient Counseling, Psychiatry Services, and Substance Use Services. We serve all ages - ranging from children as young as 5 years old to teenagers to adults. At Wedgwood, we aim to serve and meet the needs of “anyone who walks through our doors” - whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, PTSD, or other mental or behavioral health challenges. We are a trauma-informed group working in a multi-disciplinary team setting to better serve our community's needs. Our licensed and experienced professionals help people every day with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, disordered eating, self harm, suicidal ideation and trauma, among others. Our mission is to provide the highest quality mental health treatment. Our office has multiple mental health therapists who work along side our physician guided medical team to provide psychological services and medical care together. This allows us to provide treatment like no other facility in the area, offering both psychotherapy and medication management if necessary, but not required if you have a primary care that you like. We also offer psychological and neuropsychological evaluations through our doctorate level neuropsychologists who can perform testing to further understand diagnosis and brain function. We also offer substance abuse programs, and medication assisted substance abuse programs using Suboxone.

I am a licensed psychologist as well as the clinical director of Sollars and Associates Integrative Counseling and Psychological Services. I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area and our group practice spans across the state of Michigan. With support, encouragement, and expert insight many people begin to feel better after their first session. Our therapists possess a great deal of experience in evaluating and working with children, adolescents, and families dealing with a variety of issues.

At Western Michigan Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. MAT is an evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment that can support many positive outcomes for patients. These benefits can include increased treatment retention, improved social functioning, reduced use of prescription painkillers and illicit drugs, and decreased transmission of infectious diseases. Combining prescription medication and counseling, MAT offers patients a comprehensive treatment experience. The medications that are available in MAT can ease the challenges of ending opioid use by relieving withdrawal symptoms and reducing opioid cravings. At the same time, these medications may help patients achieve better mental clarity so that they can focus on the recovery process. In our MAT program, this process can include individual and group therapies. These supportive counseling sessions are a key part of MAT at our CTC because they can allow you to address the mental and emotional aspects of opioid addiction recovery.

Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital provides a premier inpatient program for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We offer intensive support in a safe setting for people who have acute symptoms of a variety of behavioral health concerns. These concerns include depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, self-harm, and psychosis. When you participate in our quality behavioral healthcare programming, you will follow a customized treatment plan, which our staff will create for you based on your unique needs and therapeutic goals. Additionally, when you participate in adult inpatient treatment, you will have the support of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. At our hospital, your care team can include psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, registered nurses, a psychologist, and other experts and program staff. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is about five to seven days, though your actual length of stay may vary depending on your needs and the progress you make during treatment.

Sanford Outpatient Center for Addiction Treatment is conveniently located 12 minutes from Greater Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, medical detox, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living.
