I'm a strengths-based clinician. Because of life's challenges, we sometimes neglect our personal strengths and focus on our deficits or weaknesses, resulting in a life devoid of meaning and purpose. In therapy, I collaborate with my clients to identify their unique strengths and challenge them to utilize these attributes both in their intra and interpersonal relationships. Our signature strengths can shift our thinking and behaviour from a mental health state of languish to a state of flourish and wellness.
I adapt my therapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of my clients. This eclectic approach to therapy has been successful with most of my clients. It has helped them to gain better insight and awareness of their personal challenges. Because of my experience, I see most adolescents and adults presenting with challenging psychological disorders.
