As a Neuropsychologist, my role is to determine the extent to which neurological (e.g., neurodegenerative, strokes, traumatic brain injuries etc) or psychiatric conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety) impact cognition, behaviour or emotional functioning. This enables patients to understand how their conditions are impacting their daily functioning (work, school, social). My goal is to guide treatment, or provide neuro-rehabilitation services (psychotherapy) to help patients work with their strengths to achieve optimal daily functioning.
I offer neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy as well as medico-legal, work-capacity and pre- and post- neurosurgery/neurological intervention assessments. My scope of practice also extends to developmental differences (ADHD, learning disability, intellectual impairment), epilepsy, demyelinating conditions and functional neurological disorder.
Due to my empathic nature and passion for this field, I am committed to providing a high-quality service in a gentle and warm environment to allow each one of my patients to grow and obtain the help they need. I also aim to take on a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach in guiding treatment from diagnosis to post-diagnosis feedback and care.
