I am a qualified general counsellor with a special interest in grief counselling. Your grief experience is unique to you, it is shaped by your personal context. You are not expected to get over the loss of a loved one but rather to work through it. I offer emotional support and assist clients to work through the different stages of grief.
Due to the stigma attached to mental health, many people try to cope on their own and miss out on the benefits of non-judgemental counselling. I am a mature counsellor with adult children and life experience. I believe in the goodness of the human spirit, and that all individuals are uniquely special. I am empathetic, compassionate and offer a safe space.
