Apart from my counselling training at Rhodes University and the South African College of Applied psychology, I have been trained in mindfulness and hypnotherapy, which I have found to be incredibly useful in assisting my clients to build more self-awareness and to use their mind more productively. We become self-aware, which gives us the option of choosing different responses to life.
