Saving to come back to next week if I get stuck. 🙂
Amazing guide, thank you Stephen! Can't wait to use this when I start playing the game!
Why would anyone want a full walkthrough on the day the game came out? Why not just play it and figure it out yourself?
That is a lot of work, thanks for it. I hope I want need it tho ^^
@2huwman Some people may want to use this, others may not. That's totally fine.
@get2sammyb people can do what they want but I wouldn't say it's totally fine. Part of the enjoyment of games like this is discovering stuff and figuring out puzzles. Using a complete walk through from day one just reduces the amount of enjoyment you can have.
I’m more concerned for the monkeys that found all these secrets.
I was suprised how easily some of the collectibles are to miss. The game is very streamline I would have thought no way I am missing this stuff lol.
Noticed there are 3 save files in this game.
I hope it is something Sony are going to do more of in the future.
It means a family or friend can play on my profile and get cloud saves as well using one of the save slots.
This very slightly makes up for me being a PSN subscriber but when say my daughter logs into her account she doesn’t get cloud saves.
She has to become a PSN subscriber herself to get the cloud saves. Even if my PS5 and my account is set to share mode. That just allows her to play the games but no cloud saves.
Very tight of Sony on that as on my series x, as long as it is my home console all that log in get cloud saves through my subscription.
@2huwman Some people are just like that, they can still enjoy the game but some might be completionists who want to get everything in the quickest time they can due to having many other games to play as well.
@UltimateOtaku91 true, good points. Hopefully everyone savours this great game. If they make Rescue Mission compatible with psvr2 I'll play through that again as well.
@get2sammyb @Quintumply
Thanks for taking the time to make this guide. Not sure I'll use it, unless I get really stuck trying to find something, but still appreciated. This has been one of the few websites that's given this game the coverage it deserves.
I like to go in blind but also appreciate the guide, knowing it’s there if I need it. I spent enough hours back in the day going round in circles not knowing what to do to appreciate it lol
@2huwman I think you misunderstood the purpose of the guide. It’s not for “helpless people who already can’t beat the game”. It is merely a resource, and it absolutely makes all the sense in the world to have it ready as soon as possible and there’s nothing wrong with that approach at all. In fact, it should be commended, rather than discouraged.
@Yousef- I never said it was for “helpless people who already can’t beat the game”. It's fine as a resource, but I don't think it makes "all the sense in the world" to have it ready on day one. Let people play it without potential hand-holding. We never used to have guides like these from day one, and had lots of fun figuring things out. So I disagree - these kind of guides on day one should be discouraged and not commended.
@2huwman Just let people be lol
PushSquare has the guide out on Day 1 because they compete with other organizations who do the same thing and their guides will be out on Day 1 so it’s kinda like a little competition. If PushSquare waits then they will lose to their competitors. If people want to “ruin their experience” as you say, then let them. They paid for the game, they can do what they want with it.
This is an awesome guide thank you! Definitely helpful on my second play through looking for stuff I missed. Only thing I would like to see in the guide is the Trophies section maybe brought into this guide instead of going back and forth between the 2 threads. Once again, Amazing work as always!
@MikeTastic_86 I never said it ruined their experience, just reduced their potential enjoyment. And I can't stop people from doing what they want obviously. I just think people would enjoy the game more without this kind of hand-holding from day one.
