Mumbai South is a parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra state comprising of 6 assembly segments Worli,Shivadi,Malabar Hill,Colaba,Byculla,Mumbadevi. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Mumbai South, which goes to poll on 20th May 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Arvind Ganpat Sawant from SHS won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 12.48% . Arvind Ganpat Sawant defeated Deora Milind Murli from INC . SHS and INC polled a vote share of 52.64% and 40.15% respectively. In 2014 Gajanan Chandrakant Kirtikar belonging to SHS won the elections, while in 2009 ,Mumbai South constituency choose Ad.Kamat Gurudas Vasant from INC. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 54.37% , 50.44 % and 44.06% repectively.
