Golden Star Ganesh’s Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi celebrates 50 days in theaters. Directed by K Srinivas Raju, the musical hit features popular tracks like Dwapara scored by Arjun Janya in the performance of Jaskaran Singh, which surpassed 50 million views on YouTube. Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi Completes 50 Days In Theatres

Golden Star Ganesh and Malvika Nair starrer 'Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi', directed by Srinivas Raju completes 50 days in theaters since its release on August 15.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kannada film industry, much like other film industries, experienced a downturn, despite a few well-crafted films with strong content and performances making it to the screens.

Finally, Vijaya Kumar aka Duniya Vijay’s Bheema revived the box office scenario for a Kannada movie which was followed by Golden Star Ganesh starrer Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, which completed 50 days in theatres on Friday. The film was released on August 15.

The musical blockbuster directed by K Srinivas Raju of Dandupalya series fame, features Ganesh, Malvika Nair, Sharanya Shetty and scores of senior actors.

Golden Star Ganesh is back in the limelight with the massive box office success of Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi. After facing a series of box office disappointments with previous releases, the actor has reclaimed his star power. Even as the film's triumph marks a significant turnaround for Ganesh, the actor took to social media to express his gratitude to the media and audience in making Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi such a big hit.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the hit! Big thanks to all the media and a huge shout out to the audience for the love and support. (sic)”

Dwapara song crosses 50 million views

Termed a musical blockbuster, the film's popular album scored by Arjun Janya is one of the main reasons behind the success of the film.

Of the six numbers, at least four were major hits with Dwapara and Chinnamma leading the charts, especially Dwapara which is written by V Nagendra Prasad and performed by Jaskaran Singh has crossed 50 million views on YouTube alone.

Even as it continues its successful run in theatres, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi remains a strong contender at the box office.
