Last update:20 April 2023

Under the theme ‘Adult learning and education for sustainable development – A transformative agenda’, stakeholders from across the globe will come together from 15 to 17 June 2022 for the Seventh International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VII), hosted by UNESCO in cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco.

On Tuesday, 14 June 2022, a Civil Society Forum, hosted by the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE), will take place in a hybrid modality as a pre-conference event. The forum will gather representatives of international civil society organizations to review the latest developments in adult learning and education (ALE), discuss challenges and priorities in different world regions, and elaborate from a civil society perspective a set of recommendations for CONFINTEA VII and its outcome document, the Marrakech Framework for Action.
