Educational technologies in Latin America and the Caribbean

The GEM Report was invited to present the key findings and recommendations from the 2023 GEM Report on technology in education and 2024 Gender Report Technology on her terms during the webinar "Educational technologies in Latin America and the Caribbean: towards an agenda for research and development". 

This webinar aims to present the findings of the study "Overview and challenges of educational technology in Latin America and the Caribbean", which was conducted by SUMMA, the Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Education for Latin America and the Caribbean, together with the Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo-GRADE-, and Southern Voice, with the support of the International Development Research Center (IDRC). We will also share experiences and cases of ed-tech with various national and international actors in the education ecosystem, and reflect on how to strengthen the design and implementation of ed-tech programs and policies in the region.
