We tested the 65-inch variant of the Bravia 8, but this smaller model should perform similarly to the larger five-star model. We praised the Bravia 8's balanced and immersive picture, which even sounds pretty great by TV standards.

Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED 65in was £1000 now £849 at Amazon (save £151)
The Amazon Omni is a much better TV than its original £1000 price suggested, so with this deal, it's a serious bargain. Its picture is really balanced and consistent, it supports all HDR formats and it's got really good gaming specs as long as you don't need 120Hz. And, of course, it runs the Fire OS platform, which features more or less every app under the sun.

Panasonic TX55MZ1500B was £2199 now £1549 at Peter Tyson (save £650)
While we reviewed the slightly larger size of this TV, we're confident that all of its positive attributes will apply to this 55-inch version. This Panasonic is brilliantly accurate when it comes to colours, is talented when displaying HDR content and it even sounds better than most TVs thanks to the built-in soundbar.

Amazon 43-inch Fire TV 4-series was £430 now £229 at Amazon (save £201)
We haven't yet tried out this model of Amazon Fire TV, however, considering the excellent on-board smart platform, comprehensive connectivity options and great voice controls, you'll be hard-pressed to find a TV that offers this much for the same price.

Triangle Borea BR08 was £999 now £899 at AV.com (save £100)
Partnered with the right electronics and given room to breathe, these floorstanding speakers really shine. Expect a dynamic, punchy and rhythmic sound that keeps you coming back for more. Five stars

Now 25% off, this record player is worth a punt if you're looking for an entry-level deck from one of the most reputable brands in the business.

Astell & Kern Acro CA1000 headphone amp/music player was £1999 now £599 at Amazon (save £1400)
We don't see many audio products that bill themselves as being roughly three things at once, let alone ones that combine a headphone amplifier and a digital audio player with a built-in quad-DAC. This has to be one of the finest discounts we've seen all year. It's £50 more than its Prime Day 2024 price of £549, but still looks quite the bargain.

Wharfedale DX-2 was £450 now £249 at Peter Tyson (save £201)
The DX-3 has superseded Wharfedale’s DX-2 speaker package, however, with both systems earning five-star ratings you can’t go wrong with either. This latest price drop brings the DX-2 down to just £249 (if you're a member of Peter Tyson's VIP club). We thought it was great value for money at launch, now you can get your hands on this system for even less. Five stars

This might be one of the cheapest ways to get your hands on a decent soundbar to improve your TV's audio. The HU715Q is the most convincing case yet for swapping out your TV for an ultra-short throw projector. Denon Home Sound Bar 550 was £599 now £499 at Richer Sounds (save £100)
This is a good deal on what looks like a very good soundbar. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, HEOS built-in and AirPlay 2 support combine to make it one of the more feature-rich of its kind we've seen.

Amazon Fire TV Stick was £45 now £16 (save £29)
The latest video streamer from Amazon is 50% more powerful than the previous-generation model (2019 release) and adds HD (not 4K) streaming from plenty of video apps. Includes Alexa Voice Remote with power and volume buttons.

JBL Flip 6 was £129 now £89 at Amazon (save £40)
With top-notch sound and a durable waterproof build designed to withstand life's mishaps and challenges, the JBL Flip 6 is a sturdy, reliable bit of kit for enjoying tunes on-the-go. Lowest deal on black and blue colourways. Five stars

Amazon Echo Pop was £45 now £20 at Amazon (save £25)
The Echo Pop looks like an Echo Dot sliced in half. It's built for smaller rooms, is powered by the AZ2 Neural Edge processor, and has Alexa onboard for all the usual smart home tricks. We haven't reviewed it, but Amazon's other Echo speakers have always tested well, and at under half price, it looks worth a pop.

The latest iteration of the standard iPad is a welcomed refresh in the design department, and the switch to USB-C was a long-overdue improvement.
