This past Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting our highly anticipated Entrepreneurship Seminar, which also served as the final event of the year for ABSIP UJ.
The afternoon was filled with insightful discussions, practical advice, and nuggets of wisdom from our remarkable guest speakers—Mongezi Masombuka, Viwe Tini, and Mpho Phalane. Each of them shared their unique perspectives on the realities of entrepreneurship, highlighting both the challenges they’ve faced and the invaluable lessons they’ve learned along the way.
Their candid stories and experiences gave our members a deeper understanding of what it takes to navigate the entrepreneurial journey, reminding us that success in business is not only about passion but also about resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to these incredible speakers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to impart their knowledge to our members. Your contributions truly made a lasting impact, and we look forward to collaborating with you again in the future.
A special thank you goes to ABSIP Women In Focus (AWIF) Chairperson, Mbali Phejaolema, who graced us with her presence and delivered a heartfelt closing address that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the event.
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Nosipho Madlala, who served as our host and panel moderator. Nosipho's professionalism, warmth, and ability to keep the conversation flowing seamlessly made the event even more engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Additionally, we extend our sincere thanks to Olivia Kharebe Dlamini and Dr Musimuni Dowelani,CFA from the Department of Finance and Investment Management for their continued support behind the scenes. Your continous support played an instrumental role in making this event a success, and we couldn't have done it without you.
As we wrap up this year's events, we leave with a sense of fulfillment and excitement for what's to come in the new year. Until we meet again, thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year's seminar a memorable one!
