Day 1 of Elevate Africa’s The Convening A powerful gathering of people who are determined to own and shape the narrative, story and perception of Africa that the world sees. After the 2-day Convening, I became a convert - An Africa Elevator if you may 😃. Seriously though, I have made a resolve to be deliberate about what I say and how I project Africa. No one can tell the world our story like we can…. And our story is beautiful! It’s a story of a people who are diligent, resilient, kind, helpful, determined, principled, generous, joyful, friendly. A people of great history and shared vision. The Africa I see is the attraction of the world. The location of the world’s next super power - Blessed with great people and resources. The world is waiting for Africa to fully emerge and emerge we will!! What a privilege to have co-compered this history defining event hosted by HRM The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III and HRM Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of Warri Kingdom (aptly described by Ogiame as the beauty and brains behind The Convening). Long live the King and Queen. Long may you reign and may your reign be blessed and fruitful. Thank you for Elevate Africa. My joyful African crew, what do you see? What is the Africa you see? #ElevateAfrica #TheAfricaWeSee #TellingOurStory
