About us
AGRICOLLEGES international is developing an online college to address the agricultural education gap in South Africa. This blended and shared learning platform will be expanded to reach other African countries and then on to the rest of the world. Our aim is to revolutionise the teaching and training of the Agri-Sciences. AGRICOLLEGES international will give students access to an advanced e-learning platform for the Agri-Sciences, using cloud-based technology to facilitate blended and shared learning opportunities. AGRICOLLEGES international will offer hope to students from all walks of life by giving them an affordable opportunity to continue learning. Through our platform, they will be able to gain access to new opportunities in the agricultural sector. As populations around the world continue to expand, the chronic shortage of skilled people in the agricultural sector is growing. At the same time, most tertiary education institutions remain expensive and offer only limited numbers of students the opportunity to further their education. The increasing demands being placed on the agricultural sector requires that we step up to help grow the skills pool and drive improved food security in the decades to come. AGRICOLLEGES international aims to offer courses designed to equip students with knowledge and skills that are widely recognised across the agriculture sector.
