Honey is the new BUZZZ word and my dream is that I would have a BUZZING business supplying this superfood of local, raw, seasonal honey to many different people all shapes and sizes! God said in HIS word in Proverbs 24:13 My son, eat honey, for it is good, Yes, the honey from the comb is sweet to your taste I have a passion to help people take ownership of their health and honey has been one of the keys to unlock that opportunity! My dream enveloped when I started selling honey in 2012. I did a favor for a friend, stocking 1 ton of Malawian honey in my garage promising him that I will try selling it. It so happened that my love and interest grew in the benefits of raw honey and after selling all his honey, God opened the doors for me to start selling raw honey, straight from my trustworthy bee – keepers – that are based in Limpopo. Through the ever-increasing awareness of health benefits- my business started growing as we discovered more of the benefits of this incredible gift from nature. Today, I am selling 400-500kg a month. I currently use my garage as my storage facility, and I employ 1 person on a part- time basis to assist with the decanting of the honey. My clients mostly collect the honey from my home and when the volume validates a delivery, I would do it myself. I also distribute honey via distribution networks that are located across Gauteng. I currently have 10 distribution networks.
