Cricket South Africa (CSA) is delighted to announce Wonder Cement as the official title sponsor for the T20 International (T20I) Series between South Africa and India. Established in 2012, Wonder Cement is one of India’s leading cement producers. Wonder Cement's product range is widely recognised for its durability, strength, and high quality. The company is dedicated to performance excellence, continually optimising processes to achieve results while prioritising environmental responsibility and community welfare. Fans are in for a treat as the World T20 Champions, India, take on T20 World Cup runners-up, South Africa, in four T20Is scheduled from November 8 to November 15, 2024. As part of Wonder Cement’s commitment to celebrating cricket fans at every match, one lucky fan will win a signed cricket ball from the winning captain. In addition to the above, the Neev Foundation, an initiative by Wonder Cement, is dedicated to empowering communities through growth in life and sports. For every first 100 runs scored in each innings, the Neev Foundation will donate 10 cricket kits to aspiring young cricketers. Commenting on the partnership, CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki said; "CSA is honoured to welcome Wonder Cement as the title sponsor for this exciting T20 International series between South Africa and India. "This partnership not only brings together two cricketing powerhouses but also aligns with our shared vision of using sport as an inclusive platform for everyone to excel. "The engagement with fans and the contributions to young cricketers through the Neev Foundation demonstrate Wonder Cement's commitment to both the game and its broader impact to make cricket accessible for all. “We look forward to a wonderful series that will capture the passion of cricket fans across both nations." Speaking on the association Mr Vivek Patni, Director of Wonder Cement said, "We are building on what we have achieved through cricket so far. It was truly great to sponsor India’s Tour of Sri Lanka and use cricket as a platform to engage with not just our distributors but also our customers. “It is a matter of great pride to associate once again with India’s Tour of South Africa, which promises to be a very hard-fought series. “We will once again be planning many initiatives and activations to further the Wonder Cement brand. We also hope to continue our work through our foundation, Neev, solidifying our commitment to cricket through our CSR initiatives. I thank ITW Universe for facilitating this partnership." Cricket South Africa (CSA) is deeply saddened by the passing of Shoaib Moosa, Director and Chief Commercial Officer of the Willowton Group, who passed away last night.   Moosa was a remarkable leader whose involvement in cricket spanned many years and numerous capacities, including his instrumental role in sponsoring both Domestic and International Cricket.   His passion for the game was matched only by his advocacy for education, and his legacy is forever intertwined with the creation of the Sunfoil Education Trust (SET). Shoaib was a driving force behind the inception of SET, a fund designed to provide up-and-coming cricketers from disadvantaged communities with educational opportunities that extended far beyond the sport.    The proceeds for this life-changing initiative were generated through runs scored during Proteas Men's Test matches held in South Africa.   Moosa’s contributions were not limited to the cricket field. He was a pillar of his community and actively dedicated his time to various charitable causes. Most recently, through his heart foundation, he played a crucial role in providing heart surgeries for disadvantaged individuals, making a profound impact on many lives.   Reflecting on Moosa’s legacy, CSA President, Rihan Richards, commented:   “Shoaib Moosa was more than just a business partner in cricket; he was a true advocate for the transformative power of both sport and education.    “His leadership, generosity, and commitment to uplifting young cricketers through the Sunfoil Education Trust will leave a lasting legacy. His humanitarian work extended far beyond cricket, and his impact on communities across South Africa cannot be overstated.    “Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family during this very difficult time.”   Shoaib Moosa’s enduring legacy will continue to inspire generations of cricketers and communities. His kindness and vision will never be forgotten.    May his soul rest in peace.
