Today marks a significant milestone – our #5thanniversary! And I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation to all of our Advisors and Planners for trusting us as your partner of choice. For those who don’t know the story, #FairbairnConsult started on Monday, 2 March 2020, with just two advisors, and a third joined soon after. Three days later, South Africa recorded its first COVID case. Let’s just say it was one hell of a beginning. COVID aside, when we embarked on this journey, we had a clear idea of what we wanted the business to look like. Five years later, the business has grown into something even greater! We’ve put some runs on the scoreboard (200+ advisors, AUM of R14bn, Top 5 Risk brokerage etc). However, there are also things like #ExtraMileClub (the only non-production-based recognition program in SA) that we can be very proud of. As I’ve said many times, our route to success is driven by the success of our Advisors. That’s why we prioritize simplicity and choice, giving them the freedom to build and run their practices in the way that best serves their clients. As we look ahead to the next five years, we will continue to innovate and make waves in the industry, building on the strong culture we’ve created while living our values and growing to the #NextLevel. #MandelaDay is an annual global celebration to honour the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This day is a call to action for individuals, communities, and organisations to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and make a positive impact in their communities. This year, we used our #FairbairnConsultConference as a platform to collect warm items of clothing, blankets and non-perishable food items from our Advisors, Product and Business Partners. Thank you for your help and support with this initiative. These items will be donated to The Haven Night Shelter Welfare Organisation, along with 67 'Buy a bed' passports, which gives each passport holder access to a shelter for 5 days. #MandelaDay2024 #FairbairnConsult
