It was an honour speaking at the South African Agricultural Teaching Association (SAATA). This reiterates Standard Bank Agribusiness’ commitment to training and development in agriculture. It is in line with the Agricareers programme in partnership with Food for Mzanzi that has reached 100 000 learners in 6 years. Future of Jobs 2025 report indicated that on the top 5 in-demand jobs by 2030, farmers and agricultural workers are at the top. Therefore we have to develop future-ready agricultural professionals.
