Job Overview: As a Technical Project Execution Manager, you will manage and execute technical projects, co-ordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, and mitigate risks to deliver successful outcomes. You'll also assist with designing, developing, and implementing data center infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Co-ordination: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones. Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members. Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules. Co-ordinate with construction, engineering, and operations teams. 2. Project Execution: Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to the project plan. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments. Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams. Manage installations of data center infrastructure equipment. Oversee the commissioning process from planning through to completion. 3. Commissioning Process Management: Oversee documentation, inspection, testing, and certification of data center systems. Ensure all systems are tested and commissioned according to standards. 4. Names of the position:Draughtsman Location(s): Gauteng Requirements: • Proficiency in CAD software like Inventor and/or Solid works (appropriate certification to be supplied). • Revit will be an added advantage. • Own reliable transport • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working on design – preferably in the structural and/or Sheetmetal industry. • Proven track record • Post-Graduation/Professional qualification an advantage • Knowledge and understanding of all related legislation and processes. • Experience in using measuring equipment like tape measures / vernier. Further information on a draftsmen below. • Drafting and Drawing: Creating accurate and detailed technical drawings using computer aided design (CAD) software or traditional drafting tools. This involves producing 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, plans, and blueprints based on project requirements and specifications. • Interpretation of Design Specifications: Reviewing design specifications, sketches, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements and objectives. Translating this information into precise drawings that adhere to industry standards and regulations. • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand their design intent and incorporating their feedback into the drawings. Effectively communicating technical information and design changes to team members and stakeholders. • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrating a strong understanding of technical principles, engineering concepts, and construction practices. Applying knowledge of materials, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing processes to produce accurate drawings that can be used for fabrication and construction.
