For the first time ever, the IAU GA was fully accessible to the world and freely streamed. This historic step brought the world's largest astronomy meeting to everyone, everywhere. 🌍

🎶 Celebrating a historic moment at IAU GA 2024 with a vibrant rendition of 'Shosholoza'—a powerful symbol of South African culture. This milestone event not only marked the first GA in Africa but also highlighted the beauty of sharing cultures. 🌍

🌍 Mark your calendars! The next IAU GA is in Rome 2027, and Chile 2030 was just announced during the closing ceremony. The official handover to Rome delegates also took place. Exciting times ahead!
