On 31 October, University of Cape Town student Bruce Gibbs Bruce Gibbs will spend the day with Dr Richard Friedland, CEO of Netcare. Dr Richard Friedland joined Netcare in 1997 as Chief Operating Officer and became Group CEO in 2005. He has grown Netcare into South Africa’s largest hospital group, launching key services like Netcare 911 and NetcarePlus. With a passion for digitisation and sustainability, Richard has led Netcare to become a global leader in healthcare environmental sustainability. He also initiated the "My Walk, Made with Soul" project, providing recycled school shoes to children.
