The 10th application window for the Green Tourism Incentive Programme (GTIP), launched by the Department of Tourism (Tourism.gov.za) in partnership with the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), is now open. This programme is a powerful tool designed to support tourism enterprises in improving their environmental performance by: ✅Covering the full cost for a new resource efficiency audit or the full cost of reviewing an existing resource efficiency audit; ✅Offering grant funding to qualifying small and micro enterprises on a sliding scale from 50% to 90% of the total cost of implementing resource efficiency interventions, which is capped at R1 million.
