In 1990, we presented an S-Class to Nelson Mandela. A vehicle that was built by the hands of the employees at our East London Plant. Now, 34 years later our employees have once again built two special vehicles for local heroes, and Friend of the Brands, Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo Am. The iconic duo each received the latest Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE PERFOMANCE, the pinnacle of automotive performance. Built at the East London Plant by the very people they represent when out on the field. The day’s atmosphere was further elevated by the students of the Sonwa Sakuba Institute of Performing Arts, whose vibrant gwijo performances honoured the Eastern Cape roots shared by both the players and the cars proudly manufactured here.
