#WomenInWind SPOTLIGHT: Veronique Isaacs, Community Operations Officer at EIMS Africa When asked about her achievements in the sector and/or aspirations, Veronique said "Leading a team of social performance professionals across 4 provinces, across 13 REIPP projects has been life changing. Being able to co-create better, sustainable futures for the “forgotten” communities has been one of my greatest achievements and will be part of the legacy I leave in these communities." Her motto in life: "Don’t be afraid to fail, make mistakes. It’s what you do afterwards that determines what and how you will be remembered." #sawea #womeninwind2024 #windexcellence

#WomenInWind SPOTLIGHT: Andrea Inskip (Lawrenson), Senior O&M Project Developer at Scatec ASA Andrea studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Pretoria. She has now been with Scatec for just over 7.5 years. Her current role is Senior O&M Project Developer. This title might seem confusing as the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department is typically involved only after a project is constructed and enters the operational phase. Her focus, however, is on new projects still in the development stage and she works on how Scatec plan to operate these plants once they are constructed, typically 2-3 years down the line. Andrea works globally, across all Scatec's regions, and on most of the technologies that they explore in the company. For instance, in a single day, she might discuss PV project layouts with the Engineering team in LATAM, work on Contract Agreements with the Legal and Business Development teams in Sub-Saharan Africa for BESS-specific project and then also plan the operational strategy for a new wind farm in Asia. #sawea #womeninwind2024 #windexcellence
