At Seriti Green, we have always used cutting-edge AI to assess optimal sites and maximise energy potential. Our AI capabilities allow us to analyse vast datasets, including weather patterns, topography, and grid availability, to pinpoint locations where wind projects will deliver the most significant impact. This technology ensures that we’re not only producing green energy but doing so as efficiently and effectively as possible. However, the development of wind energy infrastructure involves far more than selecting the right location. The logistics behind building a wind farm are immense, with turbine towers the blades alone stretching over 90 metres. Transporting these massive components from ports to remote project sites requires meticulous planning, specialised vehicles, and robust infrastructure, often involving upgrades to roads and bridges along the route. While AI and advanced data analytics streamline site selection and operational efficiency, the physical infrastructure still demands significant coordination and investment. Listening to our CEO opens up the realities of the size of these projects and what it takes to realise the full potential of renewable energy. Smart technology, strategic planning, and logistical expertise overcome the many hurdles of project development. #Mpumalanga #AI #RenewableEnergy #WindPower #Infrastructure #EnergyTransition #Logistics #Sustainability #SeritiGreen #Windaba

Windaba is an African-owned and managed Conference and Exhibition for Wind Energy stakeholders who are active on the continent. It is taking place in Cape Town this week. This afternoon, Carla Hudson, our programme manager will be one of the panelists discussing whether Mpumalanga will be the next renewable energy frontier and if the province is ready for such a rapid uptake of renewable energy. The panel includes, Louise Paulsen, Frank Spencer, Peter Venn and Mercia Grimbeek. This session is sponsored by Seriti Green who themselves have recently started a wind farm project in Bethal which the premier of Mpumalanga, Mr. Mandla Ndlovu, visited last month. What is your take on Mpumalanga's state of readiness for renewable energy?
