There is a great deal to consider in these wild times. #findingyourwings A few moments into ‘the screen’, exposing oneself to that which we are being programmed with, can leave one numb, dumb, senseless and afraid, but rarely inspired. #steppingback It requires stepping back, to gather those swirling senses, and access a ‘self’ - that healthy idea of a connected being - to restore that which is being dismembered by countless images and messages of madness, grandiosity and escapism. It’s going to take a really concerted effort to stay in relationship to a … 🔆more evolved sense of ourselves 🔆to our soul: and 🔆our humanity, rather than falling into an addictive and delusional ‘reality’. Being able to think, feel, sense, and rise above the mass messaging and unregulated algorythyms whose single purpose is to capture the mind and soul, into mob think, vital trends, or unrelated fantasies. When we are removed from what it is truly and vibrantly alive in our lives, we fall into that ‘no person’s land’ and we become distanced and alone. We are then cut off from the vast range and scope of our creative possibility which we can recognise 🔆in the loving gaze of a mother as she looks into her infants eyes; 🔆in the scientist who is dedicated to truth; 🔆in nature where we can touch the gossamer wings of the butterfly as much as we can feel the dynamic surge of the ocean. ❓Why would we deaden our experiencing before it actually breathes us into the fullness of this one precious life? As learning beings - inquiry, exploration, connection, relating, active thinking, heart resonance and openness, can take us into the territory of a life worth living, on a living earth, that is giving. It takes courage and consciousness to hold onto that which we can still remember, and which filled our hearts with joy. This is no naive view or one that does not recognise the potential other views and counterpoints. But that is the very case that needs to be made. 🔆Where do we find spaces and learning opportunities that grow our capacities and capabilities of discernment and wisdom? 🔆Where can we cultivate our #integralintelligence that is able to consider the whole spectrum of being? 🔆Where can we grow our wings? What are the questions that weigh on your heart? At a recent weekend retreat with Integral Africa: TCC and #susannecookGreuter - #Harvard Researcher and PHD in #egodevelopment and #leadershipmaturity - we dived into the deep questions that hang heavily on us. From AI to corporate soul, from “where do we find God?” to “how do we respond to this time of crises?” And “what is the role of myth and fable?” Some beautiful answers emerged as we traversed conversations, shared meals, dreamwork, and our nature teacher – McGregor itself. Thank you to all who were there, we co-created the beginning of what promises to be a change-making dialogue… Partnering with the #McGregorWisdomSchool as a space and place of beauty and reflection, this is where we can find nature, and timespace warps, so as to reflect and re-generate. +3

Navigating the hard and soft in organisational life is a mirror to that we can see in our daily meanderings of human and non-human engagements - some of which we are aware, and some of which, we blindly stumble through. MYSTERY, MASTERY AND MATURITY In the practice of mastery, while also holding the mystery of our lives, that particular capacity of maturity is something of an invitation to us all. How do we continue to inhabit our lives in its fullness to have the conversations that matter? How do we do this with care and courage while addressing what needs to be addressed? How do we continue to build the confidence to step beyond our triggers and see the projections (that which is put 'onto us' by others who are unable to hold their own feelings or thoughts) and the introjections (that which we have unconsciously taken into ourselves to hold as our own without a questioning of them?). Learning to have the conversation is not a simple process. It requires insight, awareness, and a knowledge of skilful tools that we can use once we recognise certain things. It then requires the ability to moderate our body language and tone, so that our observations are simply placed on our shelves of information, ready to be taken down and responded to, as we need, or want, or can. Beautiful and deep evidence that the #IPCP creates the conditions for #growth and #development through #embodiment. As students have gone through a journey of discovery and exploration into a world of #self, #others, #culture, #systems and exploring #constructs, the yields of the seeds sown in the early months, are noticeably breaking out into the sun, as the sands of unknowing makes room for sense-making and connection, freedom and liberation of structures of meaning, that have previously held the human soul prisoner. What does it mean when someone says: "Ahh this makes sense now! It's as though the mists of confusion and the swirl of limited categorations, make way for an emergent possibility". It is about trust, and possibility, about a wisdom process, and rigorous practice, where every part of the learning spirit, releases its fear of being seen, heard, and finding significance. Not in a prideful way but rather in a way of proud inhabiting of all the gifts each one has. This is the work. Susanne's Harvard research on adult developmental maturity (ego development) forms the most researched data base of leadership development yet undertaken and the #MAP profile is offered by TCC. Dr #PaddyPampallis has taught with her over the last 16 years and will be again offering the #LeadershipMaturity Work in 2025. Susanne is our chief wisdom office on #IntegralAfrica: #TheCoachingCentre's advisory #Board. #Paddy presented the work of #IntegralU - a unique integration of Wilber's theory with #Africanwisdom, the #Enneagram and #LeadershipMaturity for finding heart in our humaneness with our earth.
