MEMBER PROFILE: BAKANG PEARCE (AIISA)   With over a decade of experience in the financial services sector, Bakang Pearce has cultivated a highly specialized skill set that cuts across from Bancassurance, Group Risk, Individual Life, Investments, and Digital Sales.     Currently based in Gaborone, Botswana, Bakang’s expertise has been honed through strategy and business development roles at organisations including Liberty Life and Old Mutual Botswana. He currently serves as the Alternative Distribution Channels Manager at Botswana Life, where he spearheads innovation and growth initiatives across various distribution channels.     Bakang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) with a specialisation in Marketing and Multimedia, complemented by a Management Development Program. He is also a Certified Digital Finance Practitioner, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional development through an extensive array of industry-related courses in Digital Marketing, Wealth Management, Product Management, and Financial Planning. Additionally, he is a proud Associate Member of the Institute of Insurance of South Africa (AIISA).     Bakang's passion for InsureTech and Microinsurance drives him to explore new markets and cultivate growth through innovative ecosystems that promote financial inclusion across Africa.
