🌍 South African Child Gauge 2024   This week, The Children's Institute at the University of Cape Town and its partners launched the South African Child Gauge 2024, which explores the complex issues affecting children in South Africa, offering a critical analysis that influences policy, practice, and public discourse. The launch of the Child Gauge is timely as the South African Early Childhood Review 2024 was also recently released and both publications are useful resources for providing data-driven insights and evidence-based recommendations to tackle the urgent challenges faced by our country’s young population. The Child Gauge report covers crucial areas such as healthcare, education, social protection, and child rights.
