WBHO is proud to contribute to sustainable growth and a greener future.
We are proud to be part of the groundbreaking collaboration with the developer SOLA Group and engineering, procurement, and construction contractor WBHO to bring two 100 MW solar PV projects to completion. This is South Africa’s first utility-scale solar project that feeds energy into the grid and powers 5 titanium mining facilities for Tronox, the world’s leading producer of high-quality titanium products, via wheeling arrangements with Eskom. This renewable energy project not only underpins the security and affordability of its electricity supply, projected to deliver up to 40% of the company’s South African power requirements, but will also reduce Tronox’s global carbon emissions by an estimated 13% when compared with its 2019 baseline. #NedbankCIB #SOLA #WBHO #PoweringPositiveEnergy #SustainableGrowth #SAConstruction
