Our CEO Mukosha Mulenga shares the back story of how he turned his love of colored gemstones into a full time business as a serial entrepreneur. Mukosha amplifies the need for entrepreneurs to sharpen their skills through further studies, as he did by becoming certified with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America). The GIA is the world's world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls. Mukosha's knowledge positions him ideally in the jewelry business, one that Zambia should take full advantage of. A special highlight is also given on the support that has been granted through various government Ministries and agencies that have seen the business grow to this level. Gemstone Masterclasses Re-Cap On Saturday 27th January, we invited coloured gemstone enthusiasts to join us for an introductory masterclass in the allure of fine jewelry. Our Head of Design Mukosha Mulenga led the session by un-packing details of the main coloured stones used in high value jewelry. He went on to explore Zambia's range of gemstones and their application in jewelry. Eleora Gems is committed to providing only the best quality the market has to offer. We are further committed to upholding industry standards, which is why we take our membership as Jewelers of America very seriously and are proud to be the only GIA (Gemological Institute of America) listed store in Zambia. This means that our clients can confidently purchase their diamonds and coloured stones without having to travel beyond borders. Our next masterclass will be held on a date to be confirmed this March. At our next workshop we will delve into the design aspect of high value jewelry.
