This marks a continuous upward trend in its Sustainalytics rating, which improved by 2.8 points this year alone. 🌱 Among 63 companies evaluated in the sector, Altri ranks second in the Pulp and Forest cluster, showcasing its commitment to sustainable practices. 🛳🔌 "𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼́𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮" 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻. It is also the first electric ferry on the Iberian Peninsula. The vessel has zero CO2 emissions, eliminating more than 300 tonnes of CO2 released by the previous model in operation and reducing energy consumption by around 30%. The electric ferryboat "#Salicórnia", which will become part of AveiroBus' operations, runs between São Jacinto, in Aveiro, and Forte da Barra, in Ílhavo, replacing the vessel previously responsible for this crossing. 🌊 The ship was built by Grupo ETE, which owns the Navaltagus Reparação e Construção Naval, for Câmara Municipal de Aveiro, which is financing most of the investment.
