DEEP DIVE DUBAI TECH SUMMIT October 17-20, 2024 Calling all tech divers, aspiring tech divers, and underwater exploration enthusiasts! The Deep Dive Dubai Tech Summit, happening from October 17-20, 2024, is your premier destination for an immersive journey into the world of technical diving. Whether you're just beginning to explore the technical side of diving or looking to sharpen your skills, this summit is packed with expert-led presentations and hands-on workshops designed to take your diving to new depths. Program Highlights Over the course of four days, participants will gain insights from world-renowned divers such as Jarrod Jablonski, Jesper Kjøller, Dimitris Fifis, and Richard Lundgren, among others. The summit kicks off with presentations on the latest in diving technology and exploration, followed by workshops where participants can try advanced diving techniques firsthand, including CCR try dives and twinset diving. Presentations will explore topics ranging from the impact of technological advancement on underwater exploration to mastering dive computers, closed-circuit rebreathers (CCR), and advanced decompression theory. Workshops will give participants the opportunity to experience technical diving firsthand with practical sessions in water. From the distant East, legendary oriental mermaids, mystical ocean spirits with extraordinary beauty and powers, arrived at Deep Dive Dubai. A research team from DAN (Divers Alert Network) conducted experiments at Deep Dive Dubai in June to measure brain activity during diving at different depths and with different gases. Our staff participated in the tests, undergoing a three-hour protocol. This study aims to test a head-mounted fNIRS device for measuring brain activity underwater while performing cognitive tests on a waterproof smartphone. The results will help develop underwater brain scanning techniques and identify limitations for research, commercial, and military applications. #DeepDiveDubai #LetTheMagicSinkIn #DiversAlertNetwork #DivingResearch
