On October 20th, our annual Pinktober Walk celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing together 316 associates from Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa. The walk aimed to raise awareness of breast cancer while fostering camaraderie among participants. Beginning at Aloft Palm Jumeirah, associates donned pink shirts and marched purposefully toward W Dubai - The Palm, symbolizing hope and solidarity. Encouragement from onlookers along the route created a strong sense of community. Upon arrival, associates enjoyed refreshments and a cool-down session, reflecting on the shared experience and the importance of mental and emotional support in the fight against breast cancer. Players donned their jerseys, each representing their respective departments, and the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation from both competitors and enthusiastic spectators. As the matches unfolded, teams displayed incredible athleticism and strategy on the field. The crowd roared with every goal, and each match was brimming with intense competition and camaraderie. Players from all teams exhibited their talents, weaving through defenders and executing precise passes, but it was the Security Team that emerged as the powerhouse of the tournament.
