🌍 Green Mobility 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 in the GCC!   With growing interest from GCC countries in sustainable transport, the Regional Business Developer Gulf team and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development partnered on a sector study on green mobility led by Robin Mills and Ahmad Zahir from Qamar Energy. This report explores Dutch business opportunities to support the region’s shift to green mobility.   The Netherlands, a leader in electric mobility, with the 4th highest EV share worldwide, is well-positioned to contribute as the mobility sector works toward Net-Zero. Congratulations to ‘Faseelh’, a language learning initiative from the Netherlands. Last week, they won a Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, under the Technology segment, ‘Best Smart Application for Arabic Language and Its Dissemination’. The award event was organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, and recognizes outstanding contributions in promoting and preserving the Arab language locally and globally. Yesterday morning, the Consul General visited a KLM Cargo flight that is traveling from Al Maktoum Airport (DWC) to Schiphol Airport. KLM Cargo flies with 3 Blue KLM Freighters, and 1 Martinair Cargo freighter, all operated by Martinair Cargo. There are currently 4 flights a week that fly through DWC, which will increase during the coming winter season.
