The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) and the Documentation House in the Emirate of Sharjah have jointly launched a private document management system, which would serve as a cornerstone in building integrated government operations, as envisioned and directed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Documentation House. The move aims to establish a cohesive and comprehensive system for managing government documents across various departments and entities within the emirate. The new system also aims to unify document management procedures and improve accessibility while maintaining rigorous control over each document type to safeguard the rights and interests of both entities and their clients. The system was officially approved by HE Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Shamsi, Director General of SEWA, and HE Salah Salem Al Mahmoud, Director General of the Documentation House, in a meeting that was attended by representatives from both institutions.
